Oh my God!!! Why haven't I read this before??? This was amazing! It made me all giddy and bubbly and excited, and at the same it made me tear up and broke my heart a million times!"Meghan Chase has a secret destiny--one she could never have imagined...Something has always felt slightly off in Meghan's life, ever since her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six. She has never quite fit in at school...or at home.
When a dark stranger begins watching her from afar, and her prankster best friend becomes strangely protective of her, Meghan senses that everything she's known is about to change.
But she could never have guessed the truth--that she is the daughter of a mythical faery king and is a pawn in a deadly war. Now Meghan will learn just how far she'll go to save someone she cares about, to stop a mysterious evil no faery creature dare face...and to find love with a young prince who might rather see her dead than let her touch his icy heart."
I really loved how mystical and fantastical the Nevernever was! That really stood out for me and also how Kagawa seemed to associate some elements from A Midsummer Night's Dream into this! I absolutely loved how the setting was very much like the traditional Fairyland concept!!! Amazing!
And then the characters! Meghan is pretty cool, of course, but my heart goes out to Ash and Robbie/Puck! I love their banter and how Meghan fits into all of this! And of course, the sibling dynamic between Meghan and Ethan was amazing! Really emotional and I think Kagawa had the whole fandom rally behind the siblings! :P And then there was Meghan and Ash!!! That was amazing!!! I loved their relationship hands down!!! Amazing!!!
And the rest of it was amazing!I loved the traditional concepts and the character developments and the interactions!!! Simply, this book was amazing!
